About Us

The Medical Scribe Prep Academy was founded in 2020 by a group of experienced medical scribes for aspiring medical scribes.  Our founders have worked in a variety of clinical and hospital settings. In their years of  experiences, they identified a crucial learning gap within many scribe companies and organizations. The initial steep learning curve and high expectations associated with newly hired students resulted in inadequately prepared scribes. The Medical Scribe Prep Academy‘s primary mission is to bridge this gap by creating a platform for all students to learn the ins and outs of medical scribing, medical terminology, and the expectations of their future physician employers.

We currently offer a comprehensive General Scribe Prep Course which is geared towards preparing entry-level scribes with the necessary skills and knowledge to be competitive applicants and successful scribes. Mirroring the online and onsite training programs of various scribe organizations, our courses aim to prepare the next scribe cohort as well as alleviate the training and onboarding burdens of scribe companies.
